The story starts on an apartment floor, where our founder piled up countless swimsuits on a particularly extensive search to find something she felt good in for an upcoming trip to Miami. A lifelong lover of clothes, she never understood why swimwear was so difficult for her to love; everything squeezed the skin and was simply not flattering — even the suits that were the most ‘figure-flattering’ on the market.
Out of mounting frustration, she said out loud, ‘I just want something that fits like my favorite raw-cut underwear.’ And in that moment...it hit her. This was the fix for feeling the way she (and so many other women) wanted to feel in swimwear.
In putting a name to how Hayley wanted the swimwear to feel, she again said out loud, “I want it to feel one with my body,” and just like that, those words, together, captured the fit and feeling she was looking to create. And so, the name and concept of the brand was born. Hayley set out on an intensive mission to bring onewith to life.
Research and development (plus lots of creativity) ensued. Universally flattering silhouettes, smoothing bonding, and raw-cut edges that are seamless on the skin — achieved our signature, patent-pending onewith fit.
