onewith Has Officially Been Granted Another U.S. Patent for Its Swimwear Design

Big news: onewith has officially been granted another United States patent tied to our signature swimsuit construction!

This newly granted design patent protects the visual design of our raw-cut edge Bellows one piece swimsuit, further strengthening the intellectual property behind our “swim that fits like undies” approach.

What Makes onewith Different?

Traditional swimwear typically relies on thick elastic seams that can dig into the skin, squeeze uncomfortably, and create harsh lines on the body.

onewith was created to rethink that experience entirely.

Our swimsuits are designed with raw-cut, bonded construction techniques intended to feel smoother and more second-skin-like against the body, more like your favorite underwear than a traditional swimsuit.

Why This Matters

Patents are relatively uncommon in swimwear, especially in women’s fashion. In addition to this design patent, we were granted a utility patent (which is a BIGGGG deal) back in July 2025. 

This patent reinforces that onewith is not simply another swim brand; it’s a product innovation company that developed a distinct approach to swimwear fit and construction.

Founder Hayley Cannon (Segar) created onewith after years of frustration with swimsuits that dug in, felt restrictive, and simply didn’t fit the way underwear does.
