3 Years of onewith: Product Launch Lookback
To mark launching onewith 3 years ago this month, we wanted to look back on alllllll of our product launches that we’ve dropped so far 💖 So much hard work, love, and passion for making swim that fits like undies went into all of these collections and products 🌊
onewith starts off with our Punchy Collection, 3 Years ago on 11/8/2021! Punchy is near and dear to our hearts, as it is the first collection of swim that fits like undies. With 8 styles total and 5 colorways (including 2 fun + playful prints). All of the colorways were designed to be mixed and matched. Bellows, Compo, Woodmont, Westerly, and Hampton all stuck around from the Punchy Collection, and are now winning pieces in our collection of swimsuits that fit like no-show underwear.
Fast forward to April 2022, we launched our Abyss Upcycled Collection! After going viral for the first time in February of 2022 (shout-out TikTok!), there was a massive demand for a black color way for our flattering swimsuits. To meet this demand in a way that was smart and sustainable for our women-owned small biz, we dyed deadstock product black. Little did we know, Abyss would soon become our best-seller, and a part of the permanent collection of dig-free size-inclusive swim.
Because of the viral boost for our small biz, we were sold out of most best sellers for the majority of 2022, finally restocking in January of 2023, with our Wharf Collection. Wharf was comprised of 3 color ways, including Abyss as a permanent staple, and a print. We went viral AGAIN and sold out in just 3 days… wild stuff!
A few months after our big viral pop in January, the demand for the next style we needed to launch was clear: a thong bikini bottom that fits like seamless underwear. We must have gotten over 1000+ comments asking for this. So, our Huntington Thong Bikini Bottom was launched that Spring in April, 2023, in our best selling Abyss colorway, of course!
Two months later in June of 2023, we dropped our biggest collection to date - Neo Retro. 9 new styles of beyond seamless swimwear, 5 new colorways. Out of this collection of better than seamless swimsuits came one fan favorite, the beloved Merritt Cheeky Dipped Bikini Bottom! Plus, a thong bikini bottom that covers the lower belly: Penfield.
After launching such a huge collection, we waited a full 9 months to drop the next thing, which was the SS24 bottom capsule collection. 2 brand new bottoms designed based on customer demand for a “full coverage cheeky” and a “skimpy bottom” which are Rockwell and Waypoint.
April of this year, 2024, we launched our candycoated capsule collection! This was our most delectable collection yet! A mindfully dropped capsule collection of 3 all-new colorways for our 2 best selling bikinis that fit like seamless undies (Westerly + Woodmont). You all fell in love with the blue colorway in this capsule collection, Jelly! It was our fave, too, and we’re so glad you loved it as much as we did!
In May of 2024, we launched the Foxon top; another best selling style of dig-free swimsuits. Foxon is a multi-way strapless bandeau top that you all loved from the moment it launched. It is a super versatile and sexy bikini top. Bonus points for its bonded construction and smooth edges.
In June of 2024, we added a colorway for our Bellows One Piece! Just in time for the fourth of July, we launched a cherrydipped (red) one piece, AKA and all-American classic.
The next month, July 2024, we brought back Jelly in a big way. After its success in our candycoated capsule collection, we restocked it in Westerly + Woodmont, and rolled it out in 2 other styles of swim that fits like undies: Thames + Merritt.
Most recently, we launched our Whitman Full Coverage Bikini Bottom that fits like underwear last month, October 2024. By popular demand, we gave Hampton, one of our best selling styles of swim that covers the lower belly, a full-coverage sister style. Whitman features the same much-loved high-waisted bikini bottom shape, but with more tummy and bum coverage.
