your best onewith size should feel a bit compressive when putting it on. then, with a stretch (watch video)it should still fit snugly, but look ultra-smooth...like no-show undies! any looseness in a suit, specifically with bottoms, makes it much less secure, especially in water! so ensure your suit is fitting swimmingly, pun intended.
